Our Story & Local Craft Approach
Broom & Beam began because we grew tired of watching agency cleaning services send completely different, hurried workers to our family home every single week. Surfaces were treated with pungent industrial chemicals, and there was never anyone accountable when something was missed.
We decided to establish an independent cleaning service rooted in our local area. We set high standards: thorough staff vetting, steady schedules where clients see the same friendly cleaner, and cleaning formulas made from simple plant ingredients that respect both your home and our team's hands.
Today, we serve homes and studios across our community with fixed pricing agreed before work begins. Payment is settled only after you inspect the job, whether you prefer paying by cash upon completion or by straightforward bank transfer.
How we maintain our standards
We inspect our equipment kits daily, launder all cloths at high temperatures between visits, and check every room against a clear written brief before handing the keys back to you.
The simple habits we stand by
Fixed upfront quotes
We agree on the scope and final cost before work starts, avoiding unexpected charges.
Named local cleaners
The same vetted team attends your property so you know exactly who is in your home.
Full property cover
Our comprehensive public liability cover provides complete peace of mind while we work.
Dependable arrival times
We turn up punctually within your chosen appointment time window.
Fresh laundered textiles
We never cross-contaminate rooms, using clean colour-coded cloths for bathrooms and kitchens.
Direct telephone contact
You speak directly to our small office team whenever your schedule needs changing.
Familiar faces
We keep our team steady so the same cleaner visits your property every time. This creates trust, familiarity, and dependable routines.
Gentle chemistry
We rely on plant surfactants and mineral descalers rather than harsh aerosols. This keeps your home naturally clean and pleasant to breathe.
Honest accountability
We quote fixed sums with no surprise fees. If an area needs extra attention, we return promptly within our 30-day service window.
We started this local service to bring reliable, respectful cleaners into neighbourhood homes. Every visit receives our full attention, using safe plant-based detergents and dedicated care.
